We had the road trials of Islay's chariot last night. It would have been okay for an inanimate weight - but not for a reluctant passenger who tried to get out every five yards. I'll just have to think of something else.
Perhaps Islay needs a cushion in the basket to sit on. The basket might be a bit uncomfortable for her old bones. But I'm sure you've already thought of that.
Hmm, how about a second-hand mobility scooter for her?
I need to take her up to the Children's Bookshop tomorrow night. Plan A was to get as far as the Co-op and borrow a shopping trolley - but she'll be getting a lift instead. In the meantime, I'll be looking at other alternatives, like the sort of garden trolley you load plant pots on to move around.
