Here's a picture of a poster I've started to see around town, pointing out how unfairly Hay is being targeted by the County Council for parking fines. Underneath the poster (I couldn't quite fit it in) was a graph showing just how much more is being collected from Hay than the other major centres of population in Powys.
In better news, however:
From 8th December, parking will be free in the car park for Christmas shopping.

Free unless you want to start shopping early. You seem to have to pay if you park before 10am. Pity to spoil it by this little bit of pettyfogging.

Remember the old days in Hay when parking on the town square was free and without a time limit..... Oh yeh, you couldn't park on there to go shopping because all the shopkeepers and staff had nicked all the places before 9am.
PCC give you free parking for "shoppers" and some people still feel the need to moan.
Hmm, sounds like you're moaning about the shopkeepers and their staff!
