Hay is a fascinating town - but there's more to it than bookshops! I like to take a look behind the scenes, at what the locals are doing.
I also maintain the Fairtrade Hay blog, and Morwenna's Tower, a blog about my writing and other interests.
Here's the Cinema Bookshop, including Francis Edwards Antiquarian Books. The building started out as the Plaza Cinema. Behind the Cinema is another B&B, The Firs.
Hi there, I really enjoy your blog and have read it regularly since we started thinking about a move to the area (from Argentina!) about 18 months ago. I like your idea of documenting local businesses with photos on your blog. I wondered if you knew you could make the photos bigger? It seems a shame that they are a little lost on the page because they are so small. I use exactly the same blog template as you do, so I know it's really easy to change the image size. Let me know if you don't know how to do it and I can let you know how. Or maybe you like the small image size?
You have a great blog and it was really useful to read prior to our move here, and even more interesting now that we live locally and we know place and people you talk about.

Thanks for the kind comments, Emma!
And thanks for the offer of help - but I kind of like the pictures small. Maybe if I was a better photographer...!
If you click on the photos they become BIGGER!
I'm glad there's someone here who has technical knowledge! Thanks.
