Hay is a fascinating town - but there's more to it than bookshops! I like to take a look behind the scenes, at what the locals are doing.
I also maintain the Fairtrade Hay blog, and Morwenna's Tower, a blog about my writing and other interests.
Can I make a request? If anyone locally has any press cuttings about Hay and the development proposals, could they get them to me, please? I have a few, but not all of them.

Hi Lesley There is a very good article in the latest edition of “Herefordshire and Wye Valley Life” entitled “Should Hay have a supermarket?” Details are here: http://herefordshire.greatbritishlife.co.uk/
With reference to the article in Herefordshire and Wye Valley Life, I find it very surprising that no mention was made of the supermarket we have already which I find is totally adequate for a town the size of Hay. We have a wonderful market too, where most items can be purchased at a cheaper price than in the Coop. No mention was made of it in the article either....Disappointing article.
