The blogger (Old Writer) lives near Liverpool, but recently he came to Hay, and his pictures can be seen on his blog, on 25th November.

Damned odd comment by that blogger, talking about the bookshops:
"Some have gone but the town's tourist trade may be able to just about support those that are left."
I pretty certain my bookshop doesn't survive on scraps from other types of businesses in Hay, and I'm constantly astonished by the number of people who pass through without understanding how it works.
