Pugh's has just been celebrating on Facebook. They have been selling milk and juice in glass returnable bottles for some time now, and they have just reached a total of 72,000 sold!
That's 72,000 plastic single use bottles kept out of circulation, which is a lot of plastic!
They pay 5p for every bottle that's returned, so they can be used again and again.

Goodness! I have no idea how you managed to retain and recall so much detail. Excellent review Eigon! At the end of the event, I too bought Jonathan's book 'Hope in Hell' - and Amika Georges 'Make it Happen - How to be an Activist' and she has agreed to mentor our young people when they have set-up their Hay Climate Club organization through the Library.
I have a very good short term memory - after about a week it all goes very hazy!
