Trick or Treat

I am a bad person.
Four little girls dressed as witches turned up on my doorstep last night, and I had nothing to offer them in the way of treats.
Even worse, one of the little girls dropped one of her chocolate bars on the path as she left.
I ate it.

Sorry Simon - I'm not removing anything, and I did read your blog before I commented on it. That's called Free Speech, too.

Dear Simon,

We'd be very interested in hearing about any inaccurate tripe you think needs a public airing, but would be especially interested in photographs or other documentary evidence that any public figure (or indeed anybody else around here) is lying about something substantive.

Thank you.

I'd be very worried if Mr Clayton thinks your blog is rubbish, because his blog efforts are the pinacle of self pitying dross, so he's an expert on the subject. Looking forward to the day that his "pay as you go dongle" drops off.

Quite surprised such a widely read blog has no comments at all. And DEMANDING often has the opposite effect to what is wished for.

I agree with eddie86 and anonymous, jumping into someone else's blog to rant is just desperate parasitical opportunism, and it's readers being demanded to follow HIS idea of who is local enough for him etc etc is driving me nuts too, being preached at , shouted at, labelled and judged does not attract respect nor assistance in one's cause. I love Hay, and all it's inhabitants, where-ever they are from, make it what it is. I also love this blog and it's gentle writer and feel that the cowardly energy of the bully that feels the need to bring such oppressive expression to it must be due to a deep lack of esteem in that person. Whilst I pity the lack of self-esteem I can only suggest that they put the same intense energy into looking inward to develop their love for themselves and humanity and then to spread the love to make change instead of angst! Then they will attract respect and interest and be able to set an example to instil change instead of acting as a dictator which only provokes rebellion.
