I've been checking the new ATM machine every so often over the last couple of weeks to see if it's got any cash yet, but every time I looked the screen said "No Cash Available".
Today, though, it seems to be up and running, and stocked with cash! Which is a great relief.
It is on the corner of the Craft Centre next to the public toilets.

This morning, when I went in Spar, I heard someone say: "Can I have some cash back? There's still no money in that machine," so it would seem that cash is still not available.
I live a few miles from Hay and yesterday (Friday 5th) I arrived at the car park where the cash machine is. Only one parking ticket machine was working - the first I tried took my money and issued a non valid ticket. Both numbers on the board to gain help were not working. The cash machine was out of money and the facility for gaining access to the toilets using a card was not working! I know the town well and could find ways round all this but what about the tourists?!! Who on earth is responsible?
